21st Birthday Card / Album is Finished!

My youngest is turning 21 very soon and for each of my children I have made an album / 21st birthday card for everyone to sign at their 21st celebrations. They are a work of love and this is the last one I have had to do. I am so happy to have it finished at least a week ahead of time ( some of my other efforts have needed an all night stand to get them completed! ).

I have used retired papers, rubons and stamps as well as current products from the Stampin'Up! range. The rubons have got me through three albums and I still have plenty left! Remember when rubons were in the catalogues?

Here are some of my favourite pages. I have used a 7x7 inch chipboard album that is held together with metal file rings.

Do you like the banner stamps on the page above? They are one of the Sale-a-bration sets you can earn for free from Tuesday 28th January.

My cheeky boy then and now below.

I love this photo below - two of my lovely loved ones.

I am really pleased with the album and also very relieved that it is completed!!!!

Thanks for looking.

The large background stamp is called World Map. It makes a really cool background don't you think?

Here is the card inside.

The Designer Series paper is Modern Medley. It has a terrific combination of Basic Black and Very Vanilla designs. The sentiments come from Rev Up the Fun stamp set, along with the tyre imprint.

Another inside view -

As mentioned in my last post this card technique will be my February Class.

Next project is my youngest son's 21st birthday album.

Santa's List Christmas Card

Happy New year to all my fellow card creators! I hope 2014 is a creative one for you!

Here is my family Christmas card for sending out to family and special stamping friends over Christmas.

It is a CASE of a card I saw on Pinterest with just some subtle changes made. You can see the other version here.

I used Early Espresso ink and card instead of Basic Black. I also coloured my doily with Early Espresso ink too.

Well that's the last Christmas card for awhile but once again my New Years resolution is to be better prepared and have my Christmas cards made much sooner in the year!
